Advancement in
FCF
If you want to advance in FCF, as we ALL do (of course), then you need to know all about the Trail of the Grizzly. (Click on the link to find out about that.)
After you have learned about the trail of the Grizzly, and you still want to advance in FCF, THEN you have to do some more work. For sure, you will need an advancement form. These forms are not small forms and might be difficult to download. (If you have a slow system, you might want to get somebody with a better system to download the forms.) Remember, it ain't easy to advance in FCF!!!! DO NOT GIT FRUSTRATED!!!! Don't give up 'till ya make it all the way!!! (Hang in there, pilgrim!!!) The advancement form you need depends on whether you are ready for Buckskin or for Wilderness. Go get the Buckskin application form HERE, print it out, fill it out, and send it to the Scribe. (More directions are on the form.) On the other hand, if your are ready for being a Wilderness member of FCF (the highest rank), you need to go get the form HERE, print it out, fill it out, and send it to the Wilderness Rep along with the $30 dollar registration fee (this pays for your Wilderness vigil. You can get the contact information for the Scribe and the Wilderness Rep on the Contact page or on the forms. They will get in touch with you and let you know what you need to do.
For you guys wanting to go to Buckskin, this means that you will be given the Buckskin workbook AFTER you send in the form to the scribe. For you guys going for the mysterious and elusive Wilderness rank, the Wilderness Rep..a truly mysterious man... will get in touch with you and give you some instructions. Do not be afraid of the Wilderness Rep. There is nothing to be afraid of...really. NOTE: THE WILDERNESS VIGIL WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE FALL TRACE EACH YEAR IF CERTAIN CONDITIONS ARE MET. (The Wilderness Rep knows these conditions, and he can tell you about them.)
